Medford Township Community Compost Drop-Off Program
Medford Township, in collaboration with Garden State Composting (GSC) and the Environmental Affairs Advisory Committee (EAAC)/Green Team, is launching a pilot community composting program — and we’re inviting residents to participate!
This pilot will make composting easier for residents who want to reduce food waste but can’t compost at home. Participants will have access to two convenient drop-off sites where they can bring their household food scraps and compostable materials.
Because this is a limited pilot, participants will be selected through a short quiz and lottery system. The quiz helps ensure everyone understands what can (and can’t) be composted — and the lottery keeps the selection process fair.
How to Apply:
Take our quick Composting Quiz & Lottery Entry Form here: https://galie.wufoo.com/forms/q1euphsb0wfjojc/
Selected participants will receive full details about the drop-off locations, materials accepted, and how to get started. Any questions should be directed to eaac@medfordtownship.com
Together, we can turn food waste into a local resource and make Medford a leader in sustainable living
