Co-Founders Catie Doherty and Ian Urquhart started Garden State Composting together when they noticed that their neighborhood was lacking a convenient way for the community to compost their food waste. Ian being an agricultural worker and Catie having studied environmental sustainability, living a waste-less life is very important to them.
